The interest from the Chinese sponsors of this event Sheng Xinyu Art, headed by the highly-respected curator and expert Mr. Zhang Hongbin (photo, right), is palpable. I have cooperated with them in providing information and images on Clarence and have answered a long and philosophical questions-and-answers submission from them. The resulting treatise has been published by them in full at https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/ikViIwdIsgYUhnNQsXtw4w in Chinese, the first time Clarence has been diffused in this great language.
You don’t read Chinese? Shame on you! You can see these pages translated into your own language alongside the images by clicking the right button on your browser (Chrome > 3 dots top right > translate; Mozilla Firefox > 3 lines top right > translate page…). Google calls it Simple Chinese which is distinct form Mandarin, the primary spoken language (dialect) of China. Simplified Chinese is a modern, reduced-stroke written script used in Mainland China, Singapore, and Malaysia, and evidently on the web. There is a peppering of odd spellings in the Google Translate (Bicknell, Bordighera etc) but it’s eminently readable.
