On the occasion of the 80th birthday of one of Clarence’s greatest devotees, Renchi (Laurence) Bicknell, we publish here a photo gallery to rekindle wonderful memories of Renchi playing the role of his great grand uncle Clarence Bicknell in the 18-minute documentary biopic The Marvels of Clarence Bicknell: the film, in the evocative visual style of French director Rémy Masséglia, released in 2016. Many of the photos here are on the set of the movie, with Renchi in character. Lovely shots of Vanessa who played Alice, a friend of Clarence who historians have not been able to identify, Rémy and his wife Gwenn. Marcus and his wife Susie in some. Thank you Renchi for being such a wonderful person.
